Walk the streets of the picturesque old quarter of the amphitheater built Kastraki and cross paths, the cloisters and small chapels among the tall rocks.

Kastraki is located in the western part of the Meteora, built amphitheater, surrounded by towering cliffs and is a district of the City Kalambaka. The story is lost in the course of years.

Kastraki has an important local tradition, customs, folk songs, which all have a uniqueness.
The visitor deserves to walk the narrow streets of the village, especially the old, to traverse the paths between towering cliffs and visit the cloisters and small chapels, monasteries and various beautiful locations in the region.

Great is the awe and admiration which occupies the visitors from the incomparable beauty.

Do not leave Kastraki unless you take with you fagot paste from locals and images from cutting iconography of the region.
