The family run hotel – Pyrgos Adrachti is situated in one of the finest points of the old settlement of Kastraki, right below the rock named “Adrachti”. The hotel itself pleasantly surprises all visitors as it is a 3 star hotel which has all the elements of traditional and modern architecture with a capacity of ten rooms.

The choice of location and the imposing beauty of the surrounding landscapes and terrific view to the mountain range of Pindus, the village itself and unique view of the rocks of Meteora makes the visit to our hotel an unforgettable experience for any guest.

Pyrgos Adrachti is set in one of the highest points of the village in a quiet amphitheatric complex with a backyard view to the Meteora rocks. From any window or balcony of the hotel our visitors get the chance to view these gigantic rocks, green forests of pine trees as well as almond and walnut trees that have the most unbelievable scent/aroma during the Spring season.

All rooms have an essence of wood and rock that co-exists with the surrounding environments and exceptional view to the Meteora rocks, while every room is differently decorated in a special style to accommodate. These romantic spaces are fully equipped with up-to-date facilities and luxuries, such as en-suite facilities, central heating, phone, fridge, air conditioning and access to the Internet. Parking facilities are also available.

In the lounge you can take in the views of the village and rocks, where the big fireplace is lit and the brightest colours create a cozy atmosphere, created by the hospitable hosts making your stay at Pyrgos Adrachti a unique experience.

Only 1km from the centre of the village and in walking distance is the first of six monasteries – The monastery of Saint Nikolaos Anapafsas. For those who love hiking, climbing the holy rocks to ascend to the monasteries perched on their tops will be both a pleasure and an interesting activity. Kastraki is certainly the right place for you to explore unique paths in nature heading for the rocks of Adrachti, Aia, Roka, Altso, Sourloti, Ai Pnevma or Chalasma, whether you are experienced or amateur hikers.

Η επιλογή της θέσης είναι εκπληκτική, με θέα σ΄όλη την ευρύτερη περιοχή της Πίνδου, του χωριού καθώς και των βράχων των Μετεώρων. Βρίσκεται στον παλιό παραδοσιακό οικισμό του Καστρακίου, στο υψηλότερο σημείο του χωριού , στην κορυφή του λόφου σε ένα ήσυχο μέρος. Από κάθε παράθυρο ή μπαλκόνι η θέα των βράχων των Μετεώρων και του καταπράσινου μικτού δάσους από πεύκα, πλατάνια , καρυδιές, αμυγδαλιές, είναι απαράμιλη. Απέχει 2 χιλιόμετρα από την πόλη της ΚΑΛΑΜΠΑΚΑΣ, 100 μέτρα από το κέντρο του χωριού και περίπου 1 χιλιόμετρο από το πρώτο Μοναστήρι του ΑΓΙΟΥ ΝΙΚΟΛΑΟΥ.

Square One is an atmospheric restaurant featuring simple and authentic Vietnamese and Western cuisine offered from an impressive display of integrated show kitchens to serve guests sitting in five different dining areas.

A wide selection of imported meats is prepared Western style while the finest local and imported seafood is the focal point of traditional Vietnamese dish. The restaurant in the heart of Saigon features an outdoor terrace and four private dining rooms to cater to guests'needs for special events.

The bar at Square One showcases a fine selection of fine wine, Champagne and refreshing cocktails mixed with tropical fruits. Square One also impresses its guests with a large floor-to-ceiling wine case featuring more than 1,500 bottles of international wines that adds to the dining and entertainment variety.

Cooking Class at Park Hyatt Saigon

There is no better way to explore and understand a culture than through its cuisine. In an effort to showcase the diversity of Vietnamese food, the culinary team at Park Hyatt Saigon offers guests a unique culinary experience in Ho Chi Minh City.

Guests will first depart on a trip to the local market in one of our Mercedes S-Class limousines, where they will buy the ingredients to prepare traditional Vietnamese dishes, and experience the hustle and bustle of the city.

After arriving back at the hotel with a warm welcome from the chef, the guests are introduced to their classroom, Square One restaurant, which consists of five show kitchens: the Seafood and Appetiser kitchen, the Vietnamese Steam, Wok and Grill kitchen the Western Grill kitchen, the Dessert kitchen and the Juice and Tea Counter.

Under the watchful eye of our chef, participants then prepare and sample traditional Vietnamese dishes, such as: Fresh Spring Rolls, Fried Seafood Spring Rolls, Lotus Stem Salad, Sweet and Sour Seafood Soup and Fried Garoupa.

To complete the experience, all participants will receive a recipe folder, a Vietnamese cook book and a Park Hyatt Saigon apron so they can continue at home what they have learned in Vietnam.
